Video not recognized

Greetings: any help appreciated; have latest firmware---nothing I do will make a video recognized by my player other than its title line. Meizu demo avi file plays fine----Converted my avi files with other software to same specs as the demo---no good----converted files with the converter supplied on Meizu CD----no good........tried Loli converter---no good......the files show up as a title in player but will not play...any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Labrea, both the original Meizu converter and Loli's use the right specs for Meizu, but they do not have a good hit quote in terms of compatibility.
If you take a look in our video related part of the forum, you would notice some talks about BatMan, which is a no-brainer solution for your problem.

Thank you very much, Bobby......I didn't see the Video Forum till I logged on today........you may have just saved this cool little player from going back to the store.......I will use Batman because I like geeking around with things but I cannot imagine the average person buying this gizmo and finding the supplied converter doesn't work and they have to goggle their way to a Fix-It Place such as this........why the heck would they supply a proggy that doesn't work? Another thing while I have you........I had seen a review which said the device won't play a video over 40 minutes.....true? Fixed? Thanks so much......

Hi Labrea. I can confirm that the Meizu will play full length movies. I have downloaded and watched several over the past few months. I have been using Batman with the setting to 4 and it has been great! Not one single complaint!
