Problem charging battery

Hello
I have a little problem with my Meizu M6 SL. Since 3 weeks, when I charge the battery, the charging icon never stops, even after 7 or 8 hours. I unplug it and looks charged. I am worried because I think it could be dangerous for the battery. I have upgraded to the 2004.6 firmware version and I have done a hard reset too, but problem still continue. My USB ports are 2.0 ¿Any ideas for this problem?

Did the problem begin with your upgrade? If so, I would try a different firmware.

I've got the same problem with my M3, except that my player shows "Fully Charged" after a few hours. It started when i've upgraded fw to 2.004.6, before i had 2.004.3 and i hadn't got this problem. It's fw fault, but it shouldn't be dangerous for battery (li-ion battery is protected agains overcharge).

Yes, problem started when I upgraded to 2004.6, but I have reinstalled the 2004.5 version and problem still continue.
It's a great notice that li-ion is protected against overcharge, but I don't understand the reason of this fault.

I'll try to discharge the battery at all and charge it. If I find a solution, I'll post in the forum. Other ideas are accepted.
