You should try re-loading the firmware. It's most likely a firmware bug. To make your battery life longer, change the brightness to like 20 instead of the pre-set 100.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

    Did you fix the problem?

I reloaded my firmware to the latest and i see no change.

I got a SP M6 and i am using Vsonic R-02 Pro's, and this weird sound is very apparent in some of the music i listen to (slow panio music). But for other music it isnt there. BUT panio music makes me Study!

It is weird because the other headphones i use with this player is the Shure e2c's and they dont have this weird noise at all. Then again the sound signature of the shures sound pretty dark and wont reproduce this high frequency sound.

    whitemoo.

the noise is less noticable while using shure e2c or koss porta pro and killing annoying with sennh cx300.It does not matter what kind of music i listen. No, it is impossible to fix that, my friend's same meizu m6 8gb model does not have this problem. I have tried all firmwares... I tried trick on meizu:started photo slideshow (2sec timeperslide) while playing music and turned off backlight. The noise disappears for every 2 seconds periodicaly.I also noticed that while pluging meizu to power charger, the noise also disappears. I drew a conslusion that it is hardware problem, maybe cpu or sound chip that produces noise. I am buying new meizu m6 soon
