    Dead M6 as well

    Hey,
I've the same problem as many here with my miniplayer. It won't turn on... When I press the power button all I see is a white flash. Non of the reset combinations work. My computer doesn't recognize it... When I connect it to the USB all I see is the white flash again... But that's it. I have the DFU tool installed, but I have no Manuel and I don't know how to use it. The guide in the FAQ page concerns with computers who recognize the miniplayer, and mine doesn't.
Can I still use DFU tool if computer doesn't recognize the player? How?
    Thank you very much!

The computer shouldnt recognize the player in order for the dfu tools to work. So basically u r on the right track. Just keep read dfu posts, the answer is here. I just dont have the time to type it over.

Just follow those DFU tool instructions (don't forget about the part where it says to keep the buttons pressed). I'm 99.9% sure it will work, if you do it correctly. Might take a couple of times, like some people have experienced (though it worked for me the first and only time I tried).

No, you need a Windows computer.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
