HELP: Music is not listed in library but shows up in browser

After fixing the whole ess up of my miniplayer M6 SP, I went and re-uploaded all of my music artist by artist to ensure I didn't overload my player all at once and ake it freak out (this was achieved over the course of three days). so, after I plug it in today on my Mac OSX all of the music was gone from the player when i opened the window (I think that's a Mac problem, but anyways...) After re-uploading all of the songs once again I go to the player and, lo and behold, there's nothing in the music library under "all songs" or "artists". I know the music's on here so when I check the browser, it's all there...it's just not in the music library...does anyone know how or why this happened? if so, do you know how I can fix this little hiccup? Thanks for all of your help, as always!

EDIT: I tried playing it from the browser and it didn't play anything and just went through all of the songs really quickly. This didn't happen last time, i'm really worried!!!

some were .wma and the rest are itunes files (so either .mp4 or .mp3). But I had uploaded a bunch previously from my Mac and they worked fine...

what the....i just tried updating the firmware with 11.28 and i got the M6.ebn on the root but when I turned the player back on it acted like nothing happened and when i finally went to plug the USB back in, the player says connected but the "NO NAME" disk it comes up as won't show on my desktop like usual. So i got to the Finder to check the left column's list of devices and it's there but when i go to open it the message "The volume for NO NAME cannot be found" pops up so now I can't even update the firmware! O_O this isn't right....

What is 11.28?

And no, the M6 has no support for .mp4, so it skips those tracks and goes onto other tracks.

Try updating music library once you get your play working again. Also note that all the music has to be in the MUSIC folder in the root of your player.

It doesn't need to be in the Music folder any more.
Arekesu, there is no 11.28. Download the S 2004.6 firmware and put its .ebn and .bin file into the root folder. I think it will format your player. Convert your music to .mp3, .ogg or .flac, .ape, perhaps .wma format. I'm sure the M6 doesn't support mp4 (it's AAC, low complexity actually). Converting it (except for .ape and .flac) WILL degrade quality. You have to live with that.
