My daughter's Miniplayer M6 has a problem.
When downloading MP3's from our desktop (an Apple iMac intel) the device froze and now can't be identified as a removable drive in either the iMac or my IBM laptop.
I have downloaded the latest firmware upgrade and have it ready to install, but the device can't be addressed by our hardware.
I have also attempted to use the Tool kit download to reacquire the USB status as a removable drive, but to no evail.
Has anyone had this problem?
What did you do to resolve it?
Has the Miniplayer had an unrecoverable data loss in the flash memory?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIf you don't care about the data on the miniplayer ... try a hard reset (Press and hold the ON/OFF and the “>>|” buttons together and until player turns OFF itself. All data will be lost.) If this does not work try to format the player (Press and hold the ON/OFF and the “|<<” buttons together and until player turns OFF itself. You will need to load firmware files before this.)

Why a hard reset ??
a simple reset by pressing the "enter" touch during 15 seconds (wait for a flash to appear) should be enough

Hey peeps,
I'm having the same problem: when I plug my usb cable in my M6sl only starts charging (yes, also when it's on).
I'd like to change the USB mode, but there is no such thing in my settings menu. I have the newest firmware btw, which has been working fine until now.
Please help me!!!
