Play, Pause and STOP

Hello everyone im an owner of Meizu M6 2GB SP but i have a problem that quite annoying. How do you stop the song that currently playing ? I know pressing the power button but it will pause with the || icon not stop with the square icon on the display. Can somebody guide me on this

what do you need a "stop" for if "pause" does the same better ? (pause stops with the benefit of being able to resume)

Yeah, no need to stop, the battery won't drain faster since it's not a walkman :D

Thanks for the tip guys. I just afraid that if I pause the player the os will hang or stuff like that. So now I guess it's normal then. Cheers.

it's even worse : when you pause for a couple of minutes, the M6 turns itself off to save battery. A blessing for some, a pain for others.

If you want to imitate a stop, you can pause and press rewind to jump to the start of the song instead of play. Although I think it would indeed need a stop, and yes, as BobbyQ said it wouldn't need to shut off paused then.

The only good thing about having a STOP as far as I can see is that at least that might let you go through tracks without playing them. When you press play to pause a track and you press next/prev track it will start playing again. It would be handy to be able to go next/prev track just to see the track title etc as sometimes it takes to long to go through menus to find the playing list (esp if I'm playing a random album and not an actual playlist). I hope that made some sense

ye, idd. i miss a stop-function too. i really dunno why they left it out.

I think you'll find most mp3 players these days don't have a STOP button purely coz PAUSE in most cases is better.
