help my meizu got prob

2day when i was going to school i left the thing in my bag without the hold switch then after school when i on it it shows me a green screen with no resource found help how do i solve the prob i do not wan to reformat my player as i have no backup for most of the music...

You just have to reload the resource.bin file! Download the firmware you currently have on the player (or install a new one), and copy the resource.bin to the root folder of your player. That's it. Won't format your player.

tried that it it doesen work end up have to reformat with a new resource file which deletes all my stuff damn...i have no back up for it some more...

Then you didn't do it properly...it should have worked without reformatting.

may i know wat could be the cause of tat prob so next time i can avoid it

Apparently nice2know u has the solution but am afraid am not that clever with computers so am asking you kindly if you can tell me where I can download the software from and how to copy the resource.bin to the root folder pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I hate seeing it not working just after 1 month from the day I bought it...Regards

Go here and download the firmware according to what type of player do you have (SP/TP/SL). Read the FAQ it contains all the information needed to upgrade the firmware!

download the firmware, there are 2 files (m6.ebn and resource.bin). open the drive in my computer after connected by the usb. then copy the resource.bin file to the part where you see the music folder and videos folder etc---thats the root of the drive (the first place you see as you open the drive).

Your player's [PLAY] and [>>|] button got pushed in at the same time, it did a hard reset of your player (which is also a format) I believe.
