What happend??

Ok, I bought my meizu sl 8gb. About 8 weeks ago.
I listened to the FM radio yesterday, and this morning when I started it up, It stood: No Resource file, please update....
The player it self had only been on my table over the night and then this happens! A took the resourse file from the M8 inspirant II, witch I'm using. And started up my player again, now was all of my music, movies everything gone!!! Soo I had a old backup of the music on my computer and was going to drag it onto the player again, but now was the "MUSIC folder" gone! It was replaced by a file that my computer couldn't read. So I tried to make a new Music folder but that wasn't accepted. So I downloaded the new firmware and did the normal procedure... Now was it finaly working!!
But because of this did I loose about 40% of my music, 5-6 movies, and some recordings! Has this only happend to me???
Have been searched trought the forums but only found one thread i German, soo I'm sorry if I missed something...

Would be happy if someone had a explination for my, because I doesn't get it...

Maybe you accidentally formatted the player when trying to turn it on? Can't think of anything else right now.

Maybe there was a virus on the drive which automically delete all the contents or as nice2know_u said, you acidentally formatted the player.

More like a virus since you said "It was replaced by a file that my computer couldn't read."

Same happened to me.
Hadnt used it over night, the next day when i tried to start it, i got the same error message, and after having installed a new Resource ("Best of" Skin from German section of the board) all the data was gone.
