Faulty Meizu
Any help would be greatly received..!
My M6 Meizu miniplayer only displays the loading screen when powered on..!!
I have tried all the buttons combinations to reformat the player but nothing works..!!
I have also tried the DFU tool on 2 different PC’s & again this fails to resolve this issue..!!
I also can’t return to seller (eBay!!) as they are no longer members, so if anyone has any advice I’d love to heard from you..
I’m currently stuck with a beautiful looking lump of white plastic/door wedge..
Kind regards

Hello,
Nothing out of the norm, I'd placed a few mp3 files onto the miniplayer & listened to them for around a hour or so then it froze. After that all I recieve is the "loading..." message on the screen when I power on.. (sad).
Thanks for the reply..
Kind regards

Well .. If nothing helps try the hammer method x-D
No I actually have no idea. Does it still load, when you connect it to the PC?

Did i you try a hard reset?(hold enter button for about 30 secs when player is on)
If that doesnt work try either a format or the DFU tools. the latter 2 will erase your files though

Yes I have tried all usually resets/formats & the DFU tool..
No PC's recognise the miniplay when connected..
Thinks not looking too good..

hmm i am confident we can find a solution.
In general when the problem is software related and not hardware things can be fixed as you can see by checking all the other similar complaints on the forum that did get solved.
When the PC does not recognize the player the DFU tools offer a solution. These can be slightly tricky to use but they will get your player working again.
I have never heared of a software related issue in the M6 that couldnt be solved.
you could try to completely drain the battery and reconnect it and then use the DFU
btw...what exactely does the player do when you try to hard reset/format it?
Dont give up on your player just yet

GOSH thanks for the positive post..
Right,
When I try a hard reset or format the same think happens it comes up with the “loading..” then goes not further. I then can only turn off the miniplayer by a 30 second press on the back button…???!!!!
Always hoping..

how about this: rstart the player by pressing the Enter button for about 30 secs.
Then immediately press and hold the power/pauze button and the FF button at the same time.
Keep them pressed firmly for 30-40 seconds...
I f I am not mistaken this shoudl force the player to format
if that doesnt work... we can see if we can use the DFU tools again...
also try completely draining the player.
It seems there is a flaw in the firmware somwhere as the player doesntw ant to start up.
So far i think we have been able to solve all firmware problems
