I just got the M6 Sp 8 gb and would like to know what are the potential dangers of resetting the player multiple time to clear the memory bank and basically start from scratch. One concern of it is possibly causing a malfunction in programming or should it be safe if done properly. The 'important info' file on screen states to press >>l (forward skip) and hold for 8 secs on startup. i've done it once because auto sync on media player added a lot of unwanted files. I know to reprogram media player now, but my main concern is the miniplayer.

I am not aware of any risks... maybe someone more knowledgeable can fill us in?

So far, resetting twice doesn't pose any real problems. Just as long you can remember how to reset the language back to english. Thanks Meizume.

Yeah, there shouldn't be any risks involved with resetting the player.
