My M6 won't turn on either

I was listening to my m6, and all of a sudden it locked up, eventually went black and I couldn't turn it on., or reset, no responses at all.

I have been trying to charge it for a few hours and still nothing (pc recognises it as a meizu player though)

As i said, I've tried everything on the forums to bring it back to life to no avail, it's at least 2 years old - maybe it's just dead

Any ideas or hints?

edit: to me it seems strange that it locked up and then turned off, to me that means it might now be the battery (the player indicated the battery was full as well)
