    M6 wont turn off

    Hi there,

I have a problem with my M6 SP 8GB. After my son gave it a bath in the cat water (or I think that that was the cause) the M6 wont shut off anymore. I can turn it off, pressing the on/off button, but only an instance later it will say "loading..." again and turn itself on. It will then be on until it runs out of batteries. It really limits the usuability of the player! Could it be a software problem after all? Or is it likely to be a hardware issue? I have tried formatting but to no avail. Help!!!

If water has gotten into your player somehow I would say it is causing a short somewhere and you may need to let it dry out preferably with the back off.
