Well, I just purchased my Meizu Dane-elec 2Gb the other day - friday, it was!
And to be frank, I am certainly no computer wiz..... but I tried to upgrade it from the original version ( 1.009 I think it was) and to a newer version 2003.3. from dane-elec's site. Guess what - it turned out well!!
I then got risky, mainly because it didn't contain the FM radio, so i tried downloading another firmware from the original Meizu site, to see if that would be containing the Radio. Well I never found out, because when i disconnected the player from the PC, turned the player off, and on - the screen started flashing white, and I think I might have turned it off ( or, it may have gone dead by it self, I honestly don't remember)
What I don't know now is, if the player is on or off. When i press the on/off button, it flashes shortly, or else there is no response. I can't really tell if there is any battery left on the player, or if it is just "hickups" it is showing.
I tried Hard reset, soft reset and all kinds of combos, but nothing really turns out right
My question now is - should I try the DFU tool, and will an old computeridiot like myself be able to use DFU ??
Please help me out here!!
By the way - I have been reading nearly all threads containing "dead meizu's", and I know that everyone is tired of this subject!!
