    Making the startup time faster.

    Are those two logos (meizu, miniplayer) really necessary (like a boot screen) or are they there just for nothing. The player takes quite a lot time to startup, imo.

    I think that if they weren't, hitting the touchpad or any key would skip them.

    Try connecting your player to some powered speakers, pump the volume up and check if you can hear some electronic whisper - if you can, it means the CPU is working and they're needed for the player to boot up correctly.

    I've removed them from the firmware once and if you remove them it just stays black for the same amount of time and then you can see the main screen with a song title etc.
