Just got M6SL. First impressions, and how do you make playlists?

There is no manual for M6SL in English. How do you make playlists?

I put all my music files into "Music" folder in Meizu. There is a folder called "Playlists" in Meizu, which is empty.

How do I create my own playlists, such as "Gym" "quiet,"etc?

Is there a way to do this on my computer, or do I have to do it on the Meizu itself?

As for SQ, compared to my M6SP, it seems to have more treble information but a bit harsher on the usual rock/hip hop recordings. Bass seems about the same. All via Ultimate Ears Super.Fi Pro 'phones. I'll do some more careful comparisons once I get some more burn-in time.

you can add folders and songs to your playlist by holding down the play/pause button, until you see it starts flashing. then you have to go to Playlist > My Playlist > Save Playlist. also you can make playlists from your computer.

Thanks for the info. If I make playlists from my computer, is this correct:

    1. I make a new folder, say "Gym," on my computer, then move the folder into "Playlist" folder on Meizu.

    2. But then, how do I associate certain songs to that "Gym" playlist on my computer since there are no "play/pause" button to hold down on the computer?

    He means theres two methods:

First option: On the player, hold down the play/pause button on a song you want to add to the playlist. Then go to Playlist > My Playlist > Save Playlist.

The 2nd option is done on the computer, using programs like Winamp to make playlists.

You can also make a folder called GYM in the Music folder on add your gym songs to the folder then in browser mode locate the Gym folder, highlight it and tapping the center of the touch strip will bring up the options Open\Play\Add to Playlist so you can either create playlist of the gym tracks or just play the folder.

My initial worries aside, now the Meizu M6SL+Super.Fi 5 Pro combo has hit a perfect sonic spot. Treble/mids have retained more clarity and detail compared to SP, but there is no undue harshness or glare, at least if the recording is decent to begin with.

With M6SP, I used to set the treble EQ by +1 and everything else flat (with Super.Fi 5Pro). With M6SL, now I set everything to flat. No EQ or sound effects of any kind is needed or wanted. Everything is in balance, resolved, rocking, non-boomy, and plain fun. Highy recommended combo.

BTW, I'm using all lossless only, and the SL can fit around 290 lossless songs, and the battery life seems very long even with lossless (which usually cuts battery life by a lot). I still haven't had to recharge the SL yet and stopped counting the hours.
