Fast Forward Problem

I have an M6 SL that I bought about a month ago and I love it! I've had a strange problem pop up recently. When I try to fast forward (hold the right arrow key) it will FF a few seconds and then resume play. I've even tried to tap the pad to get the diamond and then hold the right arrow key and the same thing happens. Am I doing something wrong or is there a setting I've changed to cause this to happen. Rewind works flawlessly. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance for any help.

When you bring up the position pointer, touch top or bottom of the touch strip to move the pointer back or forward.

That works! Thanks! But shouldn't holding the right arrow fast forward also?

the 2.004.3 firmware has a bug that cou cannot fast-forward. you need to update your player to the latest 2.004.4 fw which fixes this problem!

Upgrading the firmware did the trick! Thanks for the help!
