Does the message "Update the disc information" that occ appears on startup mean the same as "Update the music library"? If it does not then how do you update the disc info ? I have no manual for my miniplayer and google did not give me any answers.
Many thanks

They are not really the same
the update disk info on startup usually means you have uploaded a corrupt file or a file that made the player get stuck otherwise.
As far as my experience goes the best(only?) solution to this is try to hard-restart(press play button for about 30 secs) and if that doesnt work a Format of the player (turn player on, keep power button pressed and also predd the foreward button at the same time for about 30 seconds. A gree-yellowish screen will appear saying its Formatting.)
After formatting your player will be functional again but you will have lost your data(music, pics movies etc)Last edited by Job; 01-18-2007 at 12:31 AM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThis message appears when you load a new resource file, too. I turn on the player, it loads the new resource file, then instead of turning off, it stays on, then starts at the startup screen, and updates the info because you just changed the player's resource files.

i feel your pain

I had the same problem playing OGG files at first.
Maybe the movie files are too big, converted wusing wrong settings(too high a resolution will make the Miniplayer not play the file), or a wrong format?
