Windows XP vs. my Meizu M6

Hi all!

I have a problem: sometimes the player makes Win crazy. I connect it, the system recognises it but if I want to browse the files explorer.exe crashes.
Alt+Ctrl+Del - finish task. It works, explorer.exe re-starts itself, but I can't disconnect the player couse Win tells me that it's still in use by something.
It was even hard to install it, had to connect it for about 3 times to finish the procedure.
Any ideas? It's really annoying that I have to re-start Windows in order to copy files to my player when this happens.
Can it be a memory problem? It's a second hand piece but fortunately still have guarantee...
Thx in advance for the answers

Does this only happen with the Meizu M6 or also with other USB devices?

I can't believe that yours is a second hand item already .. the M6 is quite young

Sometimes the printer (usb) makes some trouble, I get a message that the document could not be printed. I turn it off then on, it solves the problem.
But with Meizu I can turn it off and on a hundred times, only Win re-start helps.
I had no problems with my previous mp3 (Stormblue A10)

Yapp, second hand, 6 months old now. 6 months guarantee, no scrach, AC charger and a new Panasonic inner ear-phone all together at a very good price...that's what I call "best buy"

Possibly a virus? or a corrupted HDD?

Try doing a chkdsk on your C: drive and trying again.

Try a different USB port. Also, make sure it's a USB 2.0 port. I had a problem with mine being detected, and suddenly not being recognized by XP. It would work fine the first time, but every time after that, it didn't know what it was anymore. I changed the USB port, and it worked fine ever since. Nothing else has ever had a problem with this USB port, though, so I say to try a different port if you haven't. Try all of them.

yes, that actually happened to me as well, the one USB port I used stopped working and I thought that my M6 had a problem but I tried the other ports and it worked fine

I tried another USB port and it works fine now.
I hope this problem will not appear again.
Thanks for the advice.
