    Green Screen Of Death!

I have had my M6 SP for about six months. Today i was trying to put on some AVI videos I got from LimeWire and when they didn't work (they would load then go back to the main menu) I deleted them and then went to go put more on and it said the memory was full even though i had deleted them. I reset the player by holding down RW while starting it up. Then disaster hi. The green screen I have no idea how to fix this any help would be most apprectiated.

    thanks

Ok first of all, if your player could turn on and off, why would you reset it? A reset is for when your player is frozen or things like that, not for fixing memory. Second of all, holding the RW at startup is a command that erases all memory including the resource file (The correct reset is holding down the return button for about 30 sec). To fix this, go search for the firmware version you have on this website, and then download it. Connect your player to the computer and open it up in Windows Explorer. Then go to where you downloaded the files and select the Resource.bin, not the M6.EBN and drag the resource.bin into your player. This should solve the problem. And oh, Welcome to Meizu Me. If you have anymore questions please PM me.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

Oh one more thing, when you go to Limewire and search for Movies and stuff, they usually are in un-compressed form. You have to use the Mz Video converter that came with your player (Its's on the CD).

I got the resource.bin file and put it in system but nothing happened. I still got the green screen. It is really starting to worry me I love the Meizu but I am starting to have my doubts on the ease of use of this system.

P.S.: What Video Converter Can I Use That Doesn't Add Water Marks or only Convert Half of the file????

    Thanks Again

lol, if you remember a certain CD in your m6-box, that will contain the perfect easy-to-use converter.

Also, you should put 2(!) files in the "/" path. So not in system but at the "base"-folder. It should be that resource.bin file and another with ??? name.

Be more carefull next time with resetting your player :P
I almost never have to use it, just in comparison.

I hope this will work for you.

    download the latest official firmware

    SP version: http://en.meizu.com/down_x.asp?MZ_ID=133&Type=2

    TP version: http://en.meizu.com/down_x.asp?MZ_ID=134&Type=2

YOUR PLAYER'S VERSION IS WRITTEN ON THE BACK!

UNRAR both files (m6.ebn and resource.bin) and put them directly in the player's drive (My Computer)

than wait for it to upgrade, then again put ONLY resource.bin file on the drive and you are done

Not at the time, but MZ Video Converter that came with your M6 is the best out there, but only works on Windows.
