Try closing out the program, re-opening it, and try again. If the problem persists, reinstall the program.

DFU is a great tool, but can be somewhat tempermental.

When connecting the player click right on the icon that appears in the system tray and uninstall the driver than uninstall dfu tools and do everything again

Ok hold on. On Windows Vista, there is a neat little function that doesn't require you to use DFU Tools to fix your player. You Hold down the Power and M button (Do Not Let Go!) and connect it. Then you should see it as a removable DFU Device in Windows Explorer. Then all you have to do is drag the firmware into your player and your're done.

(P.S. If your player is the SP version Do Not drag the TP firmware into your player. That is the major cause for the black screen of death. Pick S.2003.2 firmware (You can get it on this site) and drag both the M6.EBN file and the Resource.bin file into your player.)
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

If you are running Vista it should be recognized as a removable DFU Device in My Computer.

Are you sure you didn't let the M and Power buttons go? They have to be held the whole time, not just at the beginning when you plug it in. Also, do you have the M6.EBN file in the DFU root folder?

When you first plug it in a message should say DFU Device or something like that. It should be recognized. Here's a link:Vista and DFU tools? DFU not needed on Vista?

The first time you ever plugged the Meizu in when holding those two buttons, did a pop up window say/ask do you want to install drivers for this DFU Device? You should have clicked yes.

Did the driver install successfully? If it did, then you can now see it in my computer.

I'm sorry, but if that doesn't fix it, I suggest You redownload DFu and try again. Since I have XP, I had to use DFU and when I did, It took me 29 tries to get it working. Sometimes it was error messages like yours, and sometimes it just didn't work even after it said installed successfully. Worse case scnario, you have to go back to where you got it and get a replacement, or a refund if you think handling Meizus are a bit too technical for you. We're all still here to help you if you do decide to get a new one and run into problems.
