m6... dead and frozen... help [Solved]

Got my m6 yesterday, today updated to 1.010, no probs, only thing I found wierd was that the song that come with the player remained.

So I put some music on it, updated the music list, and it worked... Then I saw a file called track01.flac, I pushed play on it and suddenly nothing.... The screen remained on, but frozen, but I could not use the controls, neither could I turn it off. So I tried to reset it and then hard reset it... nothing

I tried to connect it to my computer (XP) nothing... I does not pop up.. So began "quest" of reading all the forums... I installed DFU tools (using this guide http://www.meizume.com/index.php?page=faq), copied the new firmware files into the folder, but I can not connect.

What am I doing wrong?

What do I do?

How long will it take it to run out of juice (screen on, but backlight dimmed), thinking this would force the bloody thing to shut down, and hopefully be able to run properly.

My m6 got corrupted recently and could not be turned off or hard reset. I was eventually able to reset it, but I had to hold down the enter key for >30 secs, and it took several attempts. You've probably already tried this but I thought I'd suggest it anyway.

BTW, do you know Line'?

Nope haven´t tried for more than 20 sek, I will give it a shot.
Its a 4 Gb SP version all black

lol , yeh if you have any probs with anything to do with the m6 freezing and not responding then you just need a soft reset ( hold m button down for ages ) it can somtimes take more than 2 mins to work , but genrally 99% of the time anything that happens when the player isnt plugged into your pc is fixable with a soft reset...
