    Frozen

    i have converted a video with the MZ video encoder, but after i put it on the player and play it. the whole player froze and the screen turned green.
    now i cannot turn it off, reset, or even connect to the pc...whats WRONG?!
    it is brand new too!

    You can turn it off by holding down the Play/Pause button for a second... if that doesnt do it, hold down the select button (bottom one with the arrow) for about 10-15 seconds and it will force it off. The video might be corrupt and messing it up. This has happened to me with bad pictures too.

    that does not work either. what about a hard reset?

    As far as I know... holding down the select button should do it. I havent had a problem with that. make sure your holding it down all the way, and you do have to hold it for a while (longer than most 'press and hold' functions on these types of devices).
    Other than that... wait for the battery to die I guess.

    I have the exact same problem on some of my videos, the loading icon stick on the scree and it just goes black, some videos work fine, its just a few that will never play, they were converted by the default converter program.

    hold ENTER button 10 seconds, happened to me several times, it's a fault of some video codecs not meizu itself

    Hold the select button for at least 30 seconds. If that doesn't work, you might have a dead M6.
    If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
