Just got my Meizu and i am having problems...

heya guys, i got my meizu less than 12 hours ago, and i am having a bit of trouble.

first off, my meizu seems to power down after 2 minutes--maybe even less-- of inactivity. i find this a lil annoying, and was wondering if it's a glitch

also, my meizu seems to load the entire library right after powering off and then on. is this normal?

It is normal, when you don't listen music, watch film on M6 atumatical turn off after 2-3 minutes. It is because M6 save battery.

Dont Worry

but what about it loading the library everytime i turn it on?

if it is the latest firmware, once something has entered into the usb port while off, the m6 believes u have connected it 2 the computer and load new songs which is very stupid and updates the library. so try as best to avoid doing that.
another bug, if u turn on the m6 normally and the the hold is on, then it will shut off. however, the next time u turn it on, it will update the library. so try to avoid that also.
I hope they fix all this in future release firmware.

PS..DONT LET IT BOTHER YOU

Could be a problem with one of you files or memory errors. Try backing up all your files and formatting the player by holding the << REW button while turning the player on. Once done you will end up with a green screen and a no resources message and will have to reconnect your player, copy over the resource.bin that matches your current firmware and restart the player.
Copy your backup files back to your player you should be ok.

If you do not want to go through reloading the resource.bin you could try a factory reset by pressing >> FFWD when starting the player which will delete all files on your player and reset to factory defaults.

power + REW is the wrong combination
the right one is power plus FF!

try that, if that doesnt restore your player you can use DFU tools to fix it.

your player is not broken and can be fixed

just to be sure..what firmware did you put on the player?if you have an SP player be sure to use the S firmware! If not, white screen...

The DFU tools is basically a little program that makes your computer recognize the player even if you messed up the firmware and allows you to reinstall new firmware.

its not the most convenient tool to use but it does work.

I have used it a lot of a times(I tend to not pay attention and upload T firmware to my SP player) and it always works after a few tries
