How to stop mp3 and videos - simple question!

Hi, maybe Im dumb, but how do you just simply stop a track from playing? I can pause it and play with the button on top but how does one stop a track?

I don't think there is a stop function. Who needs that anyway ? Stop Playing = Pause, Replay Track = <<

Yeah pause will act as your stop. Saves space just to have a pause because people might want to resume the song. If they want to restart the song they can easily click back.

If you want to conserve battery turn it off :]

I haven't used the meizu yet but i notice this for my friend's ipod shuffle so i think it should be the same for all daps :x heh.

also, if i double-tap the pause during videos it DOES stop..interesting huh?

With videos, not only does it STOP, but it also stops the video where you stopped it and stores it in the Recent Video section so you can pick up where you left off. I think a video is different then a song in that you can just start from the beginning of a 3 minute song. With a video you might not want to re-watch something again or fast forward to get to where you left off. You really can't compare a song function to a video function...

You don't double tap pause. You press it for 2 seconds and it will stop.

Oh it will stop the mp3 or video permanently ? and not where you left off middle of the track/video ? Didn't know that :x

the double tap only works on video im afraid. I'm requesting it to work for mp3s on the next firmware if possible.
