Hi all!
I've just received my new white 4GB miniplayer and I find it fantastic!
I just have a question about the protective cover film.
The one on the screen side has one or two small dust under it, is it normal for a new player.
On the back, the notice said there is a film over the protective film and it has to be removed. There is a paper label to pull it off.
Anyway, when I remove it, there is no cover below, only the metalliic back?
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSo I should be stupid because the sticker is attach to a thick plastic layer and if I pull it, i can feel the ink of the Meizu marking below my nail.
I am almost sure there is no other plastic between the back and plastic cover.
I will check again...

Perhaps you have bought an old player. There was once when Meizu decided to remove the protective layer of the back after complaints that the sides of the layer could get dirty easily. After they removed it, they received another row of complaints of people wanting to have the protection cover, so now all new players have them.
I guess no matter what you do, there will always be people complaining. Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThis should be the answer! I bought it from ebay and firmware is S 1.009.
Anything I should be aware of about this "old" version?
Thanks for your help,

Just be extra careful with the back. Perhaps get some kind of protection if you haven't already.
The official Meizu silicone skins come with extra protective layers for front and back. Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

I took the film off on the front side and nothing happened.
So there's no need to be scared even if you took the protective film off.

elite case is simply that... a case to protect your player. There are Green, Light Black, Light Blue, Pink and Transparent colors available.
You can get them from houseofdap.com or miniplayer.infoInternet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHi,
Just received my elite case but I'm a little bit disappointed by overall quality.
The case doesn't holt at all in the plastic belt clip holder, it is almost useless.
I will have to arrange somethig with velcro to hold it in place.
Else the case itself seem to protect correct the player, even if I don't find to close very safely.
Nevertheless, for the price, it is a good protection for my miniplayer.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have a clear Meizu M6 case made by a company called "PC Case". My Meizu has survived a 2 foot drop onto a rubberized gym floor. It has also kept my Meizu free of scratches cause by keys, coins, and pens. If you look at my case it has many micro scratches on it. The case has protected my Meizu very well. Ive only had the Meizu for 2 days. When I feel like watching a video I can easily take it out of the case. Moreover, the case comes with a little unobtrusive attachment which allows the case to stay upright for video watching. The only problem I have with this case is the external button which turns the player on/off. This small plastic button which comes with the case is not secured in place, thus making it very easy to lose when you take the Meizu out of the cover. Other than that I would highly reccommend this case to anyone.
