New M6 SL owners

Does any of members of this great fansite have get one of the wonderful new M6 Mini Player SL?

Nope not yet though i've already ordered one weeks ago :x

I didn't want the white one so i asked for black, but it seems black m6 sl aren't made yet not sure when ( but they think maybe 3 days after ).

But the problem now is Meizu shut down the factory literally because of some event or something.

So dont know when ill be getting mine -_-;

I'll wait for your news...

Where did you hear/read about the shutdown? Do you mind sharing that with us? Thanks.

a week ago was chinese moon festival,so most business are closed for a week...

I was informed by China Direct 2 U that because of the event, Meizu's factory literaly shutdown so they were only promised by Meizu that they would send them some stock on the 10th October.

I am not sure whether Black Meizu M6 Sl's will be in that shipment because of the factory inactive around this time, i am not sure whether they even started the production of those black sl's ...

:[ anybody want to fill me in ?

I don't think it will be solved for M3 or M6... ...

I am 75% sure that this not happens in M6 SL

I'm not really an audiophile so i won't know what to listen for. But i will be listening close so if theres something i don't like i will report it :D

When i get my new Meizu i'll be playing alot with it hehe =^-^=;

I bought one yesterday. 4GB. White. Not bad, considering it has longer battery life compared to my Nokia N800

Someone else commented that the Sl has this clipping problem too !! Can anybody else verify this please.

Yes, I heard that. But I don't hear that with my audio files.

so the SL version still has the stuttering?

Maybe slightly off-topic, but I have converted your mp3 song to ogg and transfered
both on my M6 (SP). The strange noise is present at the end of the mp3 (never
had such noise before) but not on the ogg one.

I used mpg321 to create a .wav from your .mp3, then oggenc(oded) the .wav into
an .ogg.
The MEIZU reports that the mp3 file lasts 51 seconds, but mpg321 has only extracted
49.66 seconds, as if the very end of the file does not contain valid data that the
MEIZU however tries to 'play'.

Together with the issue of stuttering... it goes a problem of time displayed in screen

Silence at the end of the track is valid data... my others players play them without problems, also my PC players...

gosh!!!... this issue of the stuttering have become really a mess... due to this I've get rid of my M6... now I'm waiting for a M7 hoping that in the time it will be released this issue have been solved. Seems that M6SL have not solved this

Here is my answer Trying to explain what the stutter or tapping is

Got mine a few weeks ago and it's a damn brilliant product. I have the slick black M6

I have had my m6SL (8GB white) for 3 days, and it is brilliant !
No stuttering ... but my mp3s are encoded with relatively recent software.

You won't have problems if you rip your own stuff.
