Hi
Just taken delivery of my M6. How do I know which Firmware edition I am running, and what are the benefits to upgrading should I need to?
Also, best place to upgrade, and what is the best Firmware version to choose?
Also, how do I know if I have a SP or TP?
Many, many thanks in advance

Almost all of your questions can already be found on the forum by reading through threads. This thread isn't really necessary.
I know your new.. but that doesn't mean you should think only about yourself and post a thread solely for yourself. If everyone did that the forum would be a mess.
I urge you and everyone that it may also concern to read and search through threads to solve some of your questions or problems.
Well thats my thought, i cant say if the admin agrees with me or not.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsonly one small problem. I am still waiting for the delivery of my player. I am doing some reading and trying to find out as much as possible. Tnx for the sarcasm though :-/
Edit.
I found all neccesary information. Sorry for posting when not needed, I guess I´m tired in my eyes from reading too much on Meizu forum and here.
Tnx in advanceLast edited by LaZBoy; 10-22-2007 at 08:18 PM. Reason: ...additional input

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIf you had read my post a bit more careful u would have seen that I dont have my player yet, so it will be REAL hard looking in the manual and/or in the menus in the player. The reason I posted was cuz I am doing as much reading as possible before I get the unit so I know what to do when I arrives, saves me some time from doing the research then.
and there is no reason for calling names! I am not stupid.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsTrue the firmware you wouldn't know if you didn't have it yet, but as to what features that are included that could have easily been found with a little tool called "Search" up above :-)
I also browsed these forums before I had my M6 and I found all my answers with very little difficulty. I would understand if you had searched and came up dry.
I immediately upgraded the firmware when I got mine a couple months ago since I knew one thing I wanted wasn't in there and that was album art. Its worth having the upgrade for the fixes as well, I haven't had it run worse with the upgrade, that's for sure.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI could have searched more I guess. And I said I am sorry for posting when not needed. I found all answers I needed in the FAQ which I completely missed that it existed from the beginnig. I had been reading forums for several hours and was tired from it...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOkey. I can understand that, and I dont mind if someone points out to me when I do some error. I just didnt like the crappy attitude...from my side that discussion is over

Lets really hope they come up with a solution for the stutter issue, I am waiting for my unit to arrive, probably tomorrow and I would hate for it to have that serious issues...
