M6 simply will not turn on

i posted this question at the meizu forums but received absolutly no help whatsoever. so i figured ide ask you nice people before i ditch meizu completely. My miniplayer just simply died after turning it off. i turned it off, set it down for 5 mins, came back, and it simply wouldnt turn on. it did this to me on one occasion but after a while of pressing the power button it turned on so i thought nothing of it. however now that its happened again im thinking its allot bigger than what i thoguht it originally was. ive tried resetting the player using both format options and the standard reset option. the player will simply not turn on , which leaved me out of using DFU tool because i cannot even connect the player to my computer. when i press the power button i do get a white flash that i normally saw whenever i pushed the power button but thats all that happens. my player model is the "DaneElec" SP version. im wondering if i should exchange for a new *working* one from newegg or is there some other way of resurrecting the player. any help would be greatly appreciated at this point as i am starting to get disappointed

Okay, your player does not have to be recognized normally for DFU Tools. You have to hold down the M and Power buttons while plugging it into your computer. Do Not let those buttons go. First, you have to download the DFU Tools on Meizume (just search for it). Once you have done that, you download the M6.ebn file for your player (You would want S2.003.2). Then you move the M6.EBN file into the main DFU Tool folder (the one with the setup.exe etc.). Now you can plug your player in (Keep the M and Power buttons HELD!). If you let go of those buttons while DFU is working, then you kill your player. Open up DFU Tools and click download. If it doesn't work the first time, try again. It took me 29 tries repeatedly with DFU Tools before I saved my Player. Hope this helps!
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

When the player is in DFU mode it does not show as a usb drive. Try starting the DFU Tool first then connecting your player using the M+Power button method.

If your in Vista try running the DFU Tool with Admin rights, it's usually not neccessary but it depends on how you have your system set up. If not try XP but unlike Vista which seems to find the DFU driver you will have to do a manual install of the driver when you connect the Player in DFU Mode.

The driver (secdfu.ini, secdfu.inf, secdfu.sys) should be in the DFU Tool folder.
If you are using Vista X64 there are no 64bit drivers.

IT WORKS!!! thank you so much for all of your help guys. i wish i could say the same about the actual meizu forums... also one thing to note for people who have this problem in the future. it seems that the player will only properly communicate with computers that are intel. being that i have an amd system i moved my player over to my intel system right behind me and it worked like a charm. thanks guys. i really didnt want to get a new player as i love the size and capabilities of this thing. :D
