"jerky" sound at end of tracks, and file order screwed up

Hi All,

I have two problems.

(1) At the end of most tracks, the audio "jerks", sort of like a CD skipping. It plays a 1 second loop (?) of the ending of each song in rapid succession, may 5-10 times. Its infuriating.

(2) My files don't order as they would in windows. Usually, the first song ends up being at the end of the album view.

Thanks for any help in advance.

1. we all get that. it might be something to do with mp3 encoding (vbr, cbr)
2. i sometimes get that too, but i think you should check your ID3 tags and make sure they are all correctly ordered.

Yeah, I use VBR encoded files. So there's nothing we can do about #1? Had I known about this, I probably wouldn't have bought the M6.

We have that I call it

(1) Tapping, because is sort of tap step done by the device.
(2) Ridiculous order, as it put tracks in alphabetic order within album.

How other call this annoyances?

Why can't this problem be fixed in firmware? It doesn't seem to be particularly widely discussed at all.

It is widely discussed. Look into this problem and you'll find nothing but user complaints.

The problem is not only with VBR... I've had it also in CBR.
I've noticed that appears when there is passages of very low sound ending a track... as it to reach the end surprise the player and repeat it 5 times to be sure :D
