Hard reset taking a long time?

How long does it typically take to format on a hard reset? It's been sitting on the "Formating.. Please wait.." for a little over an hour now, and I'm getting antsy.. any ideas? I have a 4gb sp. Thanks.

I think you're screen is just stuck. Does it light up or respond when you press a button? If it doesn't, then try a soft reset (pressing and holding the enter key for around 20 seconds). Then you can restart your player and it should work again.
