no resources?

When I turn on my m6 it says no resources! upgrade your resources again. it's background is green also. what do i do?

If you know what version firmware is on your player then copy the same version resource.bin to the player and restart it.

If you do not know what version firmware is on your player then do a full firmware update by copying both the M6.EBN & resource.bin to the player then restart it once to load the M6.EBN, wait for it to shutdown then restart again to load the resource.bin.

Be sure to download the right version for your player TP or SP. The serial number on the back of the player will start with either of the following M6SPxxxx...... or M6TPxxxx......

dude. i've never understood how to update firmware. where do i add the m6.ebn and resource? when i hook it up and the window comes up do i just put it where all the other folders are? ( music pictures videos) or do i have to put it in one of them?

Yes just copy them to the player, don't put them in a folder.

uhh. is it supposed to get rid of all your music? i just did it. i dled s2003. everythings gone. =/

Based on your first post of a green screen and no resource error you must have done a hard reset which formats the player and deletes the resources so your files would have been deleted before you did the update.
