Battery Life...

It's been about 9-10 months since i've gotten my meizu m6 sp. first couple months were fine, i went through a day of school listening to music non-stop. but after a few months, the battery life kept getting shorter and shorter, i haven't been doing anything but music, videos once in awhile, but no movies, like 5-10 minute videos.
soo now my battery life is at about 4-5 hours.

GIST of the thing. anybody know what's wrong and if i can get it back to normal?

Many factors directly contribute to battery life drainage. Such as: EQ settings, sound effect settings, screen brightness level, screen on/off, volume, etc. You could try altering some settings and see if the battery life increases, you should also me aware that the batteries do not last forever. Though they shouldn't be draining that fast, based on my knowledge of the battery (which, note, is not perhaps that great).

The battery is supposed to last about 3 years from what is stated here in a stickied thread in one of the forums.

while battery life is somewhat dependent on time, what most affects battery lifetime is discharge/recharge cycles.

discharge/recharge? haha sorry. i'm kinda noob when it comes to stuff like this.

After 3 years the battery has lost more than half of it's capacity, sometimes even faster, depending on how you treated it.

The worst things are high temperature and deep discharge, this will shorten (or end) the battery life.

It's better not to let the battery run empty before recharging.
