Sounds like the battery has failed, could be a faulty battery or because of the way it was charged. Lithium batteries do not respond well to deep cycle charging ie: running the player till it shuts off and then recharging. This stresses the battery and significantly lowers its working life. Best results are obtained by frequent top up charges rather than full charges.

As Meizu batteries are a not a standard size\shape readily finding a replacement that fits is not be an option. If you want a genuine battery then the player has to be sent back to Meizu for replacement preferably through your seller.

You could pull a madman like I am and drill a hole and put in an external iPod battery with larger capacity. Talk to madman about how he did it.
