Poll: Does your M3 have the skipping/stuttering at end of track problem?

Wondering if this problem exists on every player. If the answer is yes, if you can please indicate what codec and bitrate the track was where you noticed it.

(NOTE: The problem happens at the END of MP3 tracks encoded GREATER THAN 128 KBPS that have NO SILENCE at the end ("gapless" tracks, like dance mixes, live CDs, or studio albums like Dark Side of the Moon), ESPECIALLY if the 'seek' or 'pause' functions are used while playing the song) .

I really want to buy one already but this issue is driving me nuts!

In my M3 this happens from time to time... I will check codec and bitrate to help in the solution

Thanks. What bitrate are your files at?

Also, this supposedly only happens on 'gapless' tracks (at high bitrates), so if you don't have a lot of gapless tracks it may not happen often.

Thanks. Oh well. Need the bitrate and other info anyway so just the numbers wouldn't tell the whole story.

That sucks. Do you know what bitrate it happens with, and if the song was a gapless one?

Thinking of getting a Samsung now. Too bad because I really wanted the M3 until this issue came up.

Looking like a common problem. Hello Samsung (unless a firmware fix comes out real fast).

It happens to me too on 128kbs in few gapless tracks. Not sure how to resolve it, need to re-encode with different settings perhaps..

Are these 'gapless' songs? If so, do you know if they are your only ones?

We are now at firmware 2.004.1 and they havent done anything yet. What makes you thing they are even working on it? The same tracks that stutter on my Meizu play with no problem on my previous players. It seems Meizu cannot make an mp3 player that can play mp3's properly.

nearly ALL of my gapless songs cause the stuttering bug, all encoded from 128 kbit to 160 kbit MBR

I just decided on a whim to check my player to see if it is fragmented... It seems that the songs that are having issues with stuttering also coincide with where there is fragmentation... I am defragging my player, right now. Will post the results, if this fixes the stuttering problem.

Nope, not at all. When those gap less songs end for me it just cuts off. Just like how you notice when your battery is out of charge.
