Dane-Elec MEIZU is this MEIZU?

Hello everybody,
I am looking to buy a M6, while browsing the internet I came across this page at: http://www.buy.com/prod/dane-elec-da...203946411.html

It looks exactly as the M6; but it says is manufactured by a company called: Dane-Elec.

Can somebody please tell me if this is the same as the M6? if not who are these guys?

They are the distributors for western europe and america (like emgeton for eastern europe).
The manufacturer is meizu, so the hardware is the same.

yep...dane elec just put their name on it like a bunch of other companies did...
its teh exact same player with exact same hardware and will be fully useable with the original software etc...

I've noticed however that most of the skins for FW2003.2 (which is what the Dane-Elec M6 ships with) do not work with the DE version of the firmware.

true...that cause they use their own firmware
most people upgrade to the newest original firmware..
all skins etc are based on the original firmware not the dane elec, emengton, etc one
