Also, I'm curious if it's possible to browse files in an artist\album\songs system where if you select one song, it will jump to it, but still all songs will be loaded into the active list.
As of today, there is no star rating system for the M6 yet. You cannot select one song and have the pklayer also select all songs by the artist, but in the artist menu, when you highlight the artist's name (menu bar is on the name) you can press the power button once (no holding) to play all songs by that artist.

It may just be me, but I personally reckon the stars DO actually affect the player. I have noticed that it has played 'more' of the songs that have higher star rating then other lower star ratings on 'random'.... maybe it's just me... ><"

The star rating was included in the early versions of firmware up till about T1.003 I think.

Why did they get rid of it? Come to think of it what happened to the ALARm that was in the Specs?

Tapping the upper or lower 1/3 of the strip will adjust the volume by 1 increments. i find it very useful when making quick and accurate adjustments. you can also use the same method for scrolling through menus/adjusting brightness, etc. also, tapping the center of the strip has the same effect as pressing the enter button.
and as others said, holding down the upper or lower 1/3 of the strip will auto-scroll through lists of songs, etc. i like using this when scanning through the track.

Might seem like a noobish question, but which one is the Enter button??? My M6SL has a touchpad which includes 4 tactile buttons: Menu, RW, FF and Play/on-off, and 3 touch buttons: Up, Down and Center (select). The up and down buttons can be accessed by either sliding or tapping.

I've read here that the center touch has the same function as the Enter button, so then, what is the Enter button? As i can't "hold down" the touchpad.

When I'm seeing a video in my SL I have three ways to adjust volume:
    -Sliding
    -Tapping
-Horizontal sliding (¿?) Is this normal?

One point for each slide or tap (hold don't work)

The vertical sliding don't work very well, some times when I slide from bottom to top to increase the volume it do the opposite and the same from top to bottom.
But the horizontal sliding works great :D (¿Anyone can use it to other thing?)

Thanks for the thread and sorry for my english.

I believe that your touchstrip is un-calibrated. Restart your player and make sure not to touch the touchstrip of your player while it is booting up.
