To prolong the life of a Li-ion battery, one important thing is not to stress it - charge the battery when the level drops to about 40%, and keep it as cool as possible. My PDA is three years old now and its Li-ion battery still works (weaker than before of course). Just hope that it will continue serve me till the release of M8...

Wait a minute, I thought it was bad to put Lithium-Ion batteries in either cold or hot conditions.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

ha, mine lasts forever, 2 hours a day, for about 2 weeks, Its usually cold coz of where I live and my backlight is always on 1 (I use the matrix skin which is good for this).
all my songs are ogg vorbis's.
I love it
