Motorola RAZR charger to charge Meizu M6?

Hi. Just wondering if someone has used their Motorola RAZR V3 charger to charge the Meizu M6? It has the same mini-USB kind of jack, so my guess is it's ok. Just want to verify and see if somebody used it! I am still waiting for my Meizu to arrive, it's somewhere between China and Canada right now

make sure to check that the voltage is around 5V and that the Mah is higher than 400 (extremely important).

I've got a Motorola SLVR, and the charger is rated "input 100-240V ~ 50/60 Hz 0.2A"
    "output 5.0V ---... 550mA"

    Should do the job, right?

I use my Creative Zen: Micro's charger, it is exactly the same voltage and everything required to charge the M6

i think you can do it...
SLVR = L7! L7 has the same charger as mine L7 i-mode so i think its not a problem

Wrong. mA is current. mAh is charge.

V = the voltage, greater than 5V would be a bad idea, less than 5V would probably still charge, but not as quickly.
mA = milliamperes, the charger needs to be able to supply the amount of current the player will draw while charging, so it should be equal to or greater than the max rated current for the supplied charger.
mAh = milliampere-hour, the amount of charge the battery holds and how long it'll be able to power your player.

If you keep in mind, that there is a hidden multiplication sign between A and h everything becomes way more comprehensible.
But you still need to know how to handle fractions.

not sure what all this means but it is safe to charge with a razr charger right? would the same apply to a razr car charger?

Motorola sometimes changes the pinouts for their so-called "standard" mini-USB ports. My Moto Q wouldn't charge with a standard mini-USB-to-USB cable, only with the supplied one.

i just found out that charging with my motorola charger, it charges much quicker. it charges full and display fully charged but from numerous experiments i found out that it doesnt keep the charge longer than when it is charged from the computer usb ports (longer 2 hrs).

am i the only one who noticed that?

    motorola output - 5v, 550 mA

I did notice that the Motorola charger charges quicker. However, I don't know if it lasts shorter---it lasts a lot, and I feel like I almost never have to charge the M6, although I use it every day as I travel a lot in public transportation...

    try this.

charge the m6 fully with both chargers (motorola and standard usb). charge first with motorola and play a sequence of videos (pull battery faster) until the first bar is dropped. note the order of the videos played. do the exact same thing with the m6 fully charged with the standard usb to pc. you will notice that after playing the same order of videos (maybe twice), the first bar still not dropped.

NB. when the m6 is charged by the motorola charger, it keeps charge long enough but just not long enough (maybe 12 hrs). after charging normally (18-20 hrs)

    TRY IT!!!!
