White Screen and DFU problem

Just got my sp M6 today, and tried to upgrade the firmware to latest version. Then I got a white screen. Tried all the resetting options and none work. The big problem is when I try the DFU method listed here in the faq (Check the 'Include this location in the search' option and specify the directory where DFU Tools is installed, after that, click next.), I can't choose the DFU folder. The option is greyed out. I tried it on my other comp, and the same thing happened. I can hear it clicking when I scroll through. Anyone know what to do?

Edit- Okay I typed in the location manually and it said the location does not contain any device information files??? I also get a failed to open M6.EBN error when opening DFU (the file is in the dfu folder).

I GOT IT WORKING . I am on linux right now since it could see it, so I did the firmware upgrade again, and after umounting it told me there was no resource.bin file, so I connect, and throw it in again. Then same thing, so I throw both files into it, then shutdown/restart, and now it works.
