Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsMy M6 SL works perfectly with Gutsy Gibbon. I'm switching to Hardy Heron (a.k.a. Horny Hardon ;P) on Thursday and I know it's going to work too.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIt works as a regular USB storage device, of course it will work. Except, of course, when using Gentoo or something like that. Then it probably won't work out of the box. Like most things Gentoo... piece of crap. Oh, it served me well for 4+ years, to be honest, but then I got compile errors I couldn't recover from, the packages site was gone for weeks without explanation, etc...
Happy Mandriva user since. Stuff works, just like with Ubuntu (never used it).
So... what was my point? Oh yeah: if you're using a somewhat normal distro, the M6 should work straight away, giving you your 'new device popup' or whatever, if you're in a desktop environment like KDE.Hurrah for OpenneSS!
