    Meizu M6 - DFU got error message

    i ve problem with my meizu M6, i tried to upgrade it. downloaded the DFU, but on upgrading got an error message"Failed to communicate to the DFU device"

    help me out....

    It's pretty hard to try and identify why you are having problems unless you outline the steps you are taking to use the tool.

    Got an error msg "Failed to communicate with DFU device" when connected the to computer by Holding the M+On button together

    Followed the below steps:
    (1) Installed the DFU for SP version.
    (2) Installed the drivers. successfuly done.
    (3) placed the M6.EBN & resource.bin in the DFU TOOL folder.
    (4) Held the M+On button together n connected to USB.
    (5) Got an error msg "Failed to communicate with DFU device"
    (6) Clicked on OK
    (7) got a msg "Failed to get device status"


    Plz help me out!!!

    How did you install the driver before you connected the player as outlined in your step 4? You would normally do step 4 before you could do step 2.

    Hey sorry.....while installing the drivers, i was holding M+ON button. Once the drivers are installed successfully, connected the player to the Computer (stilling holding the M+ON button.)

    After connecting to computer, got a pop up window of Samsung...
    with image 1: SST39VF800.dfu
    image 2: M6.EBN

    Just clicked on "Download". got the msg "Failed to communicate with DFU device". thn clicked on OK button.

    Thn got another error msg "Status: Failed to get device status". clicked on OK button.

    Now the status is been displayed as enumerating... NO FURTHER PROCESSING...


    plz help me out!!!!

    I want to hold down the M Key then press and hold the power button. Connect your player then right click on the My Computer icon and select Manage. Select Device Manager, expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers and check that the player is showing as a USB DFU Device.

    yes I have USB DFU DEVICE available.!!!

    OK disconnect the player. Copy firmware version 1.009 or 1.010 M6.EBN to the DFU Tool folder, don't worry about the resource.bin. Run the DFU Tool the first entry "Device" should be empty. Hold down the M then the power button then reconnect the player. Does the device appear? If it does press the Download button. What happens?

    Hey on clickin download got "Cannot communicate with DFU device." on clickin ok....some process is going on n inthe status"Downloading image 1" is displayed.

    is it downloading????
