Battery Indicator

I have a problem. I charged my battery fully and it says full charge but when i turn it on it only shows half the battery filled. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

may be a problem with the battery indicator, so what you need to do is drain the battery completely and then full charge, more info: Lithium Battery FAQ & Care Tips

you can do a factory reset but,i dont think you're gonna get something different... that's not handled by the player but the battery.

Ok, I found out what it was. For some reason the usb cable that came with it was screwed up. It wouldn't start charging when I put the cable in while it was off. So I tried a different cable and it worked.
