Same as a USB 2.0 about 1.5 - 2 hours. With USB 1.1 your data transfer will just be slower.

I downloaded the english manual and it says that if I don't use a 2.0 usb then it will not provide enough power or sync with the player. Is that true?

Like madman said, usb 1.1 /2.0 is only different in terms of speed. It has nothing to do with the power, which is always 5V / 500mAh / DC .

You only have to take care of the 5V.

You should provide at least 400mA to your Miniplayer. If you (your charger) can provide more - that's fine, the Miniplayer (and any other product) will only take as much as it can handle.
