    Battery life and heat

Peculiar thing happened to me this week. My Meizu was fully charged when I took it for a short jog. After the run, I put it in the glove box and left it there for 3 days. I then tried to use it the other day and it shut down by itself due to low battery.

I usually get several hours of playtime before I even see the battery indicator move so this really surprised me. I usually store my Meizu indoors but this time kept it in the car for no particular reason. The only thing that I think could have sapped the life out of the battery so quickly is the summer heat. It's been mid 90's this past week but I didn't think it would affect the unit that much, especially since it was in the glove box and not in the direct sunlight.

At any rate, I'm recharging it now. Stepping off of soapbox now...

You should NEVER EVER leave it in the car in extreme weather! Not only does it sap the battery, but it also might damage the player. I always take it with me. You shouldn't see this problem again if you keep your player in moderate climate conditions.. Hope this helps.

It can easily reach like 200 degrees in a car in the summer time, My friend killed his 80 ipod by leaving it in the glovebox, the li ion battery's do not do well in the heat. I also killed a ipod mini this way, be sure to keep it cool. You could try sending it in for warranty, that is prob your best bet....
