    Headphone Problems?

Has anyone else had their Meizu M6 headphones slowly (and painfully) die on them? I bought an M6 for a friend and shortly after his headphones died, so did mine. What's the deal? Is anything that Meizu makes of any remote quality?

i personally don't use the bundled meizu earphones but my sister does (as i gave them to her) and she's still using it until now. (i bought my m6 last october and she's been using the earphones since then) no complaints from her and she seems to like the sound quality.

as for quality, my m6 is still going strong after 9 months so i have no complaints.

ot: is it just me or is iamdmc consistently bashing meizu?

all of his posts mainly bash meizu's product. check out his public profile and read his forum history. Either he has really bad luck or he is trying to turn people off from meizu because he knows this is a popular english site for the product.

you'll see what i mean, just read his public profile

I used to love the product... until it systematically broke down PIECE BY PIECE. I'm exposing some of the faults of the product, so sue me. People need to know the truth from all angles - the positives and negatives. Stop being fan boys and praising the product as if it were a god.

Well, iamdmc is right in a way...
I hear nothing but praises about M6, but after I bought it I started noticing some very annoying bugs, which caused me to like M6 (and Meizu) less.
Meizu has to work very hard (and fast) on the next firmwares to fix some very embarrassing bugs (ones that should not appear on a high-quality product).

Sure, some bugs should be fixed soon, but all in all it is a nice piece of hardware.
To say "my headphones died slowly & painfully" or "the unit broke down piece by piece " is not believable, until he tells us what happened.

Why can't we be fanboys when this is a fansite?
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Every product can die. Just look at the ipods, they die atleast as much as Meizu's do. It is still Meizu > ipods & a lot more DAPs. :P

Well, my stock earphones died on me by cable fracture just behind the connector. I know someone with acactly the same problem. Most headphones have a movement risisting rubber near the connector, the PT-850's don't so that might be the problem. I'm enjoying my new earphones now though.

Just bought some Sennheiser CX300's on eBay... hopefully they're better than the Meizu ones (which I was actually very happy with until they 'died a horrible death' - over a period of about 2 weeks functioning less and less)

I still can't believe that ANYONE would even think to use the Meizu Stock headphones...

The CrossRoads Mylar One, X3 and XB all have great synergy with my Meizu players...

    Especially the MylarOneX3 - Sublime!
