Scrolling with Silicon skin over touchpad

I just bought a second M6(actually Dane -Elect 4gb) to give as a birthday present to my daughter this week and I bought her a bright pink silicon skin that covers the touchpad as well. I noticed the slide scrolling does not really work with this skin on. I also personally have an 8gb M6 with a silicon skin, but mine has a cutout for the touchpad so the scrolling is not affected by it.

Is anyone else using a skin that covers the touchpad, and if so, what do you do about the touch sensitive scrolling. would recalibrating the touchpad help, or do I need to cut the silicon skin(I rather not do this) I think the touchpad scroll is one of the best features on the M6 so I would like to have it working correctly for my daughter.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    mh

I keep the skin over the touchpad. I found it too sensitive without it. Although now I can't scroll.

OK... I guess that was not a useful response.

I did the same. Theres always those replacement skins you can get for the touchpad, if you wish to add some thickness and dull the sensitivity.

Another option is saran wrap, plastic wrap for food, you add a small thin layer of this on, and it seems to help a small bit.
