Will there ever be SRS Wow available for the SP versions of Meizus? I really don't like the spatializer and I heared that SRS sounded much better.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsReally SRS has never Gone, that's because the SRS is a Capability of the Philips IC 380HN, Meizu just change the Label in resource(maybe just for Legal issue).
The SRS you always has knows never has left the M6.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAs I told you before, there's nothing to do for enjoying the SRS, The only things you have to do for Feel it is:
*turn on th Spatializer
*Select Normal or Virtual3D on the Mode.
*Set the virtual3D about 2-4(I think 2 is enough)
*Set the PCE level about 2-3(I think 2 is enough)
*left the ViEB in 0
*and make the next EQ settings:
-5, -4, -3, -2, -0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
That EQ setting help the SRS to be more reliable.
That's it, now you can clearly feel the SRS Efects.

Unfortunately DNSe doesn't quite come close to SRS WOW. those EQ settings above were only for whatever earphones he was using (with more emphasis on the WOW part rather than TruBass). Being 2 different technologies, its to be expected that they will have different effects on your audio.
TP users can simply revert to T1.007 for a taste of SRS WOW
Current Rigs:

Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use
8GB iPod Touch 2G > Shure SE530

x2 to the MAX. This is the very same reason I reverted back to listening to my Iriver T-30. SRS WOW expecially the updated 2.0 version is excellent. You can contour the bass improvement from 40-500 Hz. You can really hear and feel the warm bass without any distortion.
I wish Meizu would release an SRS WOW sound option for the SP aside from Spatializer. They have released it before and I don't see any reason why they can't again.
I can't wait to listen to Iriver Clix 2 which has been updated to SRS WOW HD. Sorry for making the comment here but I think Meizu should take a look at Iriver and measure their sound performance against it. By far, Iriver kicks Meizu especially when you use hi-fi headphones...no hiss.

The function your are talking about (bass improvement from 40-500 Hz) the Meizu M6 SP still having it, just with other Name Virtual Bass Enhancement(ViBE). If you want, try the Software below to see if those frecuencies changes in the range you have mentioned(40~500Hz).
The software is: Acoustic Analyzing System 5E
This software is a Professional tool just to test Audio Equiments, Mp3 player, Headphone, PC sound Card,... etc
Download a Full 30 days Trial :
http://www.ymec.com/dl/audio/PCAE3.exe
you can download it using the emule too
follow this link to see serveral examples of how to use it.
http://home.comcast.net/~machrone/pl...playertest.htm
Then when you know to use it, make some tests changing among the diferents position of the ViBE control of the Meizu M6 SP and watch the Specturn Meter or the Octave band meter of the software that will show you the changes between those frecuencies(you got to create a accurate MP3 SweepWave File to play it in the meizu to make those tests).
Here's a not Perfect sweepwave file that can function for that, you got to create a better sweepwave file to get the accurate outcomes, for a while use this:Last edited by wilbordxp; 06-25-2007 at 04:49 PM. Reason: for Correcting some Terms

Okay, I guess there won't be the SRS Wow style of controls, but you still pretty much get the same thing.
