M6SP dead/crashed

oh well - i see a lot of these topics, but i need help too.
i ordered a meizu m6 sp and got it today, put music etc etc on it, and then i wanted to try a lay out.. put the lay out on and followed the instructions and the player completely freaked out. so i read in the manual "if there's any problems with the miniplayer blabla - try upgrading the firmware"
so I upgraded the firmware and all i see is a white screen! it goes off after a few seconds and when I connect it to the computer (or: if i try to, because it wont connect) i only see the white screen - staying on.

i am in great pain - this wasnt the start of a relationship with my maizu that i dreamt of..!

thank you.

(p.s., hold is not on, if that may be a cause sometimes)

My Meizu
After the white screen went off you should have turned it on again. The white screen is just the first phase of update.

could you explain what the instruction booklet said?

try holding the enter button for at least a minute..
then, try to activate the player once again..
dont, do not load new ware just cause the player wont play a file, turn on, goes crazy...

You can reset the player bu holding the enter button for about 30-40 secs.
This often fixes problems

In your case you could try that if that doesn't work check if you upladed the right firmware(T for TP players, S for SP players)
As your player is new its probably an SP

Don't worry too much about the player though. This problem can be fixed

First try to rest, if that doesn't work try a format(see manual) if that doesn't work you could resort to DFU tools as a last option

hmm, after the formatting the screen stays blank.. i shall try the DFU tool, but it's not working too well, after I installed it and i try to run it it says: Failed to open file! M6.EBN
