Is there anyone out there in Meizu land, that was as green as I am about
how to workd my M6, when they first got theirs? I don't know how to get
my music onto a file in my computer, let alone get it from there to the M6.
Could someone e-mail me at : www. world2002traveler@yahoo.com and help
me get started so I can download videos and music to my M6? I'm not
technically inclined, and could use the help to get started, and would help
others once I learn how. I've read the manual that came with it and am
just as confused!!
Thanks for your help!

not sure if this is a serious post as I wonder how anyone who doesnt know anything about computers managed to find this forum etc but here we go
to put music on your Meizu simple copy-paste your music files to the Music folder of the Meizu
Simply connect your Meizu with teh USB cable and your computer will reconize it automatically and put it in the under "My Computer"
Suppose you have 1 Eminem Cd on your computer. Simply select the folder, right click your mouse and select "copy"
Go to the music folder of the meizu and click "paste"
the computer wil now copy the files to you Meizu
same goes for images
as for video... you need a video convertor to convert videos you downloaded or ripped or made to make themw ork on your Meizu.
You can find the programm for that under the "about video"(or whatever the name is on this forum)
once you downloaded the convertor... select a movie file and open it inteh convertor. the programm will do teh rest. The file you end up with will be suitable for your meizu and can be copy pasted like the music and images to the meizu but ofcourse inthis case to the Movie-folder
there... thats computer and meizu 101

you mp3 or video files to the removable disk . disconnect the mplayer, then update miusic library in the mplayer. thats about it.

12-14-2006 #4Did I get you right? You don't know how to get music onto your computer? Why did you buy the player then?I don't know how to get my music onto a file in my computer, let alone get it from there to the M6.

Well, if you don't have music on your pc, you will certainly have it CD's or DVD's. So you will have to "rip" the music from the CD's / DVD's with software like Winamp / iTunes / foobar whatsoever.
I just can't understand how you can buy such an "upperclass" mp3 player not knowing how to put music onto it or your computer. But nevermind.

Thanks for the help, but please keep in mind that were not all rocket scientists, when it comes to technology! Frankly I use my computer for
e-mail and forums. When I use it for music, I pop in a CD. I don't save it
on the computer. I suspect that many on this forum than I, and are more
intune with the latest in electronics.
Thanks again for the help

Ok, thinking about your background a little bit, you may be using windows media player to reproduce your music. So check at the tab that says rip and rip your cds there.
The rest is just a copy and paste in your miniplayerInternet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.
